Animation Therapy offers Health Professionals pioneering
intra-disciplinary therapeutic opportunities using the medium of
animation to work with issues affecting families, adults, young
adults and children.
Animation Therapy Ltd was set up following the receipt of an
award for Innovation in Mental Health from the National Endowment
for Science Technology and the Arts (NESTA).
Our professionals area contains information about our pilot study,
case examples and the full range of training
courses. Animation Therapy celebrates diversity,
the site is designed for use by practitioners with a variety
of professional backgrounds. Down load our free

In the same way that puppets are used in therapeutic techniques to tell stories and to explore complex emotions and processes, so can the animated action whether it be in the form of a puppet, object, drawn or cut out provide new opportunities for externalisation, projection and narrative.
