The technical toolkit
Originally created by Animator, Kari Nygaard in collaboration
with Occupational Therapist, Helen Mason, the Toolkit below has
been designed to provide a basic guide with basic knowledge to get
you started with using animation in your work.
The Technical Toolkit has been through several development stages,
including being used as a guide for therapists taking part in our
clinical trials (see our Research and Development page for further
details). The pilot Toolkit was also launched on the internet with
a feedback questionnaire to gather therapists' opinions prior to
writing the final version which can now be downloaded on this
site.
Animation Therapy would like to thank Susannah Shaw and Professor
Joan Ashworth for their support and guidance throughout the
development stages of creating the Technical Toolkit.
